Despite Krista not getting her beloved Germany, she still managed to get three top seeded teams. Her strategy seems very sound. Did anyone else manage to do the same?
And Tunisia and England are in the same group(G), so Doug's and my position in relation to each other will be decided in the group stage, depending on which one dies better. If neither pass the group phase, could they conceivably get the same number of points in that stage? I would still think it fun to continue, bc we would still be competing against the other 35 participants.
I’m happy with my four teams, but it was a bit of a scare going into the last round that Derek, Emilie and I had three teams in common and Carol and Doug also had three. Guaranteed ties before the first kick off wouldn’t have been very fun so I’ll have to revise the draft process for 2022.

ReplyDeleteI see Doug also has three top teams. We will see how it all works out.

DeleteWhoops, I meant we both have Germany, Poland and Tunisia. So only Russia (his) and England (mine) separate us.

DeleteMy typos come out hilarious. Meant "who does better", not "dies".
DeleteAllie, Carol, Gray, Kelley, and you could also be in that category - Krista
