Draft Order Draw

The names are in the hat.

The registration deadline has passed and the much anticipated Draft Order Draw will be happening later today.  36 eager BISERGSers spanning the alphabet from Allie to Vera and the globe from Arlington, WA to Raha Beach, Abu Dhabi will be vying for the title this year.  There is an excellent mix of BISERGS veterans and talented newcomers.  Gray Samuelson holds the number 1 spot in the BISERGS World Rankings, though he's never won the whole thing?  With this be his year?  Krista Rutz is always in the running and she has spent nearly two years strategically embedded in Germany, home of the defending World Cup champions.  The odds makers in Las Vegas seem to think this is Krista's year.  Never count out previous BISERGS winners Carol Barrera and Sharleen Samuelson.  The participants list is available on the website here, if you want to see who will be playing.

36 players means each World Cup team will be available to be picked 5 times.  In other words, 5 BISERGSers can select each team in the World Cup.  5 can have Brasil, 5 can have Portugal, 5 can have Germany...

The draft will take place at 7 pm, Abu Dhabi Time.  That is 8 am Pacific Time.  If you are online when the draw happens, you can see this page updated live (this is the google sheet link and will update more frequently than the page on this website).  We'll also try an Instagram live video of the draw, so those of you with Instagram can check that out.  Good luck everyone, the BISERGS is truly beginning now!
